The hotel offers a charming and picturesque environment that feels like a romantic retreat, especially for wine lovers. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with great amenities like fireplaces. However, the dining experience was quite disappointing this time around, especially compared to previous visits. While the location is decent for exploring the nearby wineries, I felt it could improve on some aspects to fully meet the expectations set by its previous charm.

The rooms were spacious, and I loved having a fireplace to warm up during the cooler nights. The decor had a rustic touch that made it inviting.

This hotel boasts beautiful grounds that truly create a charming and relaxing atmosphere. While I enjoyed the stunning property and the quality of the amenities, I found the room I stayed in to be rather dated and in need of a refresh, which affected my overall experience. Additionally, the dining experience did not match the level I anticipated based on past visits, leading to some disappointment during my stay.
Rooms
6.0
My room was large and beautifully decorated, featuring a king-sized bed and a cozy fireplace. However, I was disappointed that the spa area was under construction and the noise from the equipment made it quite difficult to relax.
Service
7.0
The service was quite attentive, although not overly friendly. I appreciated the efforts to provide hot tubs during the spa closure, but it was unfortunate that one was cold and the other not usable.
Location
6.0
The hotel is positioned in a quiet area, which is great for a peaceful retreat, but the drive to local dining options can be an inconvenience.
Dining

The dining experience this time felt a bit lackluster compared to previous visits; the breakfast offerings did not impress as they once did, with some items being only average.
Facilities
6.0
While the facilities, including the spa, looked promising, the ongoing work detracted from the overall experience during my stay.

Kenwood Inn and Spa offers a charming escape with picturesque grounds and a serene ambiance that feels like stepping into a Tuscan villa. The rooms are spacious and cozy, especially with features like fireplaces and large tubs, perfect for a romantic getaway. The complimentary wine and cheese hour added a lovely touch to the experience. While the spa services were unavailable during my visit due to renovations, the overall setting was beautiful and made for a relaxing stay. However, I did encounter noise from spa work that was noticeable at times.

I had a wonderful stay at KIS! The property is beautifully laid out with gorgeous surroundings, providing a serene escape despite being just off a busy road. The spacious and cozy rooms were topped off by a lovely gas fireplace, which added a cozy ambiance to our evenings. Dining was a highlight, especially enjoying a tasting dinner and a delightful breakfast spread. While the outdoor space was fantastic, I wish there were more dining options available during our stay.

The hotel is an enchanting retreat located in beautiful wine country, perfect for a peaceful getaway. I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely wine hour and the included breakfast, which started the day off right. However, some aspects of my stay could use improvement, such as the inconsistency in room quality and the minor dining changes that detracted from previous visits. Overall, it's a charming place that offers unique experiences.
